Leave the city behind and travel to Lion & Safari Park, a privately managed wildlife reserve set within the scenic Highveld landscape.

After arriving at the park, join a professionally guided safari conducted in an open or enclosed safari vehicle, depending on operational requirements and weather conditions. Your guide shares fascinating insights into the behaviour, ecology and conservation of the animals living within the reserve while leading you through different wildlife habitats.

During the drive, you may encounter prides of lions resting in the grasslands, cheetahs surveying their surroundings, African wild dogs moving through their territories and spotted hyenas displaying their complex social behaviour. The reserve is also home to giraffes, zebras, blue wildebeest, impala, springbok and several other herbivore species commonly seen throughout the safari.

Following the guided drive, enjoy free time to browse the park facilities, gift shop or refreshment area before beginning the comfortable return journey to Johannesburg.
