Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Imlil
Begin your journey with a morning pickup from your hotel or riad in Marrakech. Head into the High Atlas Mountains, traveling through picturesque valleys and traditional Amazigh villages until you reach Imlil, a peaceful mountain village nestled beneath Mount Toubkal.
Discover authentic Berber villages and experience the warm hospitality of the local people. Relax in the evening at a charming mountain kasbah overlooking the valley.
Day 2: Imlil – Taroudant – Agadir
After breakfast, cross the spectacular High Atlas Mountains through breathtaking mountain passes on your way to southern Morocco. Stop in Taroudant, often called "Little Marrakech," where you'll explore its impressive ramparts, traditional souks, and vibrant atmosphere before lunch.
Continue to Agadir, Morocco's most famous Atlantic resort, renowned for its year-round mild climate, wide sandy beaches, and relaxed atmosphere. Spend the evening strolling along Agadir Marina and the beachfront promenade, where cafés, restaurants, and palm-lined walkways create the perfect setting to watch the sunset over the Atlantic.
Day 3: Free Beach Day in Taghazout
After breakfast, drive to the charming surf village of Taghazout, famous for its golden beaches, laid-back atmosphere, and world-class waves. Spend the entire day relaxing or choose from a variety of optional beach activities, including surfing lessons, swimming in the Atlantic Ocean, relaxing on the beach, horse riding along the coastline, beach walks with panoramic ocean views, beach cafés and seaside restaurants, shopping in local artisan boutiques, and watching the sunset over the Atlantic Ocean.
Your driver remains available throughout the day, giving you complete flexibility to enjoy Taghazout at your own rhythm. Return to Agadir in the late afternoon.
Day 4: Agadir – Aghroud – Imsouane – Essaouira
Enjoy one of Morocco's most scenic coastal drives along the Atlantic Ocean. Stop at the colorful beach of Aghroud before continuing to the famous surf village of Imsouane. Here you'll enjoy a delicious fish barbecue lunch prepared with the day's fresh catch while overlooking one of Morocco's most beautiful bays.
Along the way, visit a traditional women's Argan oil cooperative and learn about the production of Morocco's famous "liquid gold." Continue to the UNESCO World Heritage city of Essaouira (formerly Mogador), where you'll enjoy the sunset before checking into your charming riad inside the historic medina.
Day 5: Explore Essaouira – Marrakech
After breakfast, meet your local guide for a walking tour of Essaouira's fascinating medina. Discover its Portuguese ramparts, bustling fishing harbor, colorful markets, artisan workshops, galleries, and charming blue-and-white streets that have made the city one of Morocco's most beloved coastal destinations.
Drop-off at your accommodation marks the end of your unforgettable journey.
