Giới thiệu sản phẩm

Step beyond Tashkent’s main streets and discover a quieter, more creative side of the city during this hands-on ceramic painting experience in a traditional local mahalla.

Your experience takes place in the home and workshop of one of Uzbekistan's most renowned ceramic families, whose generations of artisans have played a significant role in preserving and shaping the country's rich pottery heritage.

Before the workshop begins, you will be welcomed into the family's private museum, where you'll be guided through a remarkable collection of historic ceramics, family archives, and masterpieces created across generations. As you explore, you'll discover the story of this iconic artisan family and learn about their lasting contribution to Uzbek ceramics and the country's artistic traditions.

After this introduction, you'll step into the studio to discover the beautiful world of Gijduvan-style ceramics—one of Uzbekistan's most beloved pottery traditions. Known for its rich colors, intricate floral motifs, flowing patterns, and distinctive handmade character, this style reflects the artistic spirit of the Silk Road.

Guided by experienced artisans, you will learn about the traditional motifs, color combinations, and painting techniques before decorating your own ceramic piece. The workshop is relaxed and beginner-friendly, requiring no previous artistic experience. Simply enjoy the creative process while receiving personal guidance from skilled masters.

This is far more than a painting class—it's an opportunity to step inside the home of a legendary artisan family, hear the stories behind their craft, and experience a living tradition that has been passed down through generations.

After the workshop, your ceramic piece will be fired in the kiln and is typically ready for collection within one to two days. Delivery or alternative collection arrangements can be made if needed.

You will leave with not only a handmade souvenir, but also a deeper appreciation of the people, history, and artistic legacy that continue to shape Uzbekistan's ceramic traditions today.
