Begin your adventure with an early breakfast before driving to Murchison Falls National Park. Pass through beautiful woodlands and savannah grasslands on a journey that takes 5-6 hours. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch before embarking on a boat cruise on the placid Victoria Nile, upstream, to the base of the falls.

En route, see hippos, crocodiles, waterbuck, and a wide variety of birds, including the rare shoebill stork. The boat stops just tens of meters from the “Devil’s Cauldron” for pictures to be taken of the photogenic and majestic Murchison Falls.

Afterward, hike to the top of the falls to witness the Nile River squeezing through a 7-meter gorge before tumbling 40 meters down in a thunderous explosion. Then, drive to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
