Your journey begins with hotel pickup in Salalah in a comfortable 4x4 vehicle. Travel toward the lush foothills of Dhofar for your first stop at Ain Razat, a peaceful natural spring surrounded by gardens and shaded walkways.

Continue to Wadi Dawkah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its Boswellia Sacra trees. Learn about the ancient frankincense trade that once connected Oman to civilizations across Arabia, Africa, and the Mediterranean.

Drive onward to Thumrait, historically a Bedouin settlement and caravan hub. Enjoy a lunch break at a local restaurant (optional) before venturing deeper into the desert.

Next, explore the archaeological site of Ubar, often called the “Atlantis of the Sands.” Discover the legends and history of this ancient trading city that once thrived along frankincense routes.
