Starting from Qala, you will drive your own two-seater buggy, following an experienced tour guide who leads the convoy and shares fascinating insights along the way. This guided self-drive experience allows you to explore Gozo at a relaxed pace while enjoying the thrill of off-road driving.

The route takes you all around the island, through fertile valleys, scenic countryside, and rugged off-road tracks, revealing Gozo’s natural beauty and rich history. Highlights include visits to Qala, Qala Quarries, Agricultural Valley and Calypso Cave. Admire Xwejni Bay and see the famous Salt Pans. View the iconic Wied il-Meilah arch and pass by Ta Pinu Shrine.  You will also enjoy breathtaking views from the Sanap Cliffs above Xlendi Bay, explore the Inland Sea and Fungus Rock on the way to Dwejra. 

A mouth-watering buffet lunch is included, with water. The package also covers two-way hotel transfers, boat transfer to and from Gozo, and a scenic cruise past the Blue Lagoon and Comino caves, with a 45-minute swim stop (weather permitting), or ferry tickets where applicable.

  • Know Before You Go: Drivers must be 21+ and fully qualified to drive. Provisional licences are not accepted.

  • Know Before You Go: Buggies are fully insured, but driver is responsible for the first €350 of any damage or claim, which represents insurance excess.

  • Know Before You Go: Tour duration does not include pick-up and drop-off transfers. Tour itself begins in Gozo at approximately 10:30 AM and concludes at around 4:30 PM. You can expect to be back at your accommodation in Malta at approximately 5:30 PM/6:00PM.

  • Know Before You Go: Drivers must follow the tour leader at all times. Racing, reckless driving, and overtaking are strictly prohibited. Failure to comply with these rules may result in the driver being held fully responsible for any costs arising from an accident.

  • Know Before You Go: Children under 3 years are not permitted to ride as buggy passengers.

  • Know Before You Go: Wear proper footwear, trainers or hard-soled shoes.
