Know Before You Go: The tour involves significant altitudes, especially in the visit to Chimborazo (up to the refuges). Prior acclimatization is recommended if you are not used to these altitudes. Consult your doctor if you have any pre-existing conditions.
Know Before You Go: Although the ascent of Chimborazo on the tour generally does not involve a strenuous hike to the summit (transportation is provided to certain points), moderate physical condition is required to fully enjoy the short hikes and activities in Salinas.
