Carihuairazo is a dormant volcano in Ecuador, located 10 km from the snow-capped Chimborazo.
Along the route, you can see several snow-capped mountains, volcanoes, and lakes. This place is home to a wide variety of wildlife species, including vicuñas, alpacas, and moorland foxes, among others.

What should you bring?
Sunglasses.
Sunscreen.
Warm, cozy clothes and comfortable shoes.

Itinerary
6:30 AM: Depart Baños.
8:30 AM: Arrival at the starting point of the hike.
10:00 AM: Visit to the lakes and photo-taking.
12:00 PM: Lunch in the lakes area.
1:00 PM: Visit to the frozen lagoon (4,600 meters above sea level / 15,091 feet).
2:00 PM: Return to the start zone.
3:00 PM: Snack.
4:00 PM: Return to the city of Baños.
