Uvita: Corcovado San Pedrillo National Park one day trip from Uvita｜Costa Rica

This park has a limited number of spots per day. To enter, you must book in advance, as spots fill up quickly during the peak season. We have special rates for groups, families and the general public. You can contact us: Departure from Uvita to the Ballena National Marine Park: Upon arrival at the offices, check-in is done with the tour guide in charge of the activity. It starts at the meeting point at our offices, where the guide in charge of the group will welcome you and give instructions and essential information for the activity. In addition, there will be a coffee, juice, cookie and water station for you to enjoy while we wait for the group to gather. From Playa Uvita, you will board a boat that will take you on a scenic ride across the Pacific Ocean for about 1.5 hours.
The cruise tour itself is an adventure, as it often offers dolphin watching, sea turtle watching, and, if you're lucky, even humpback whale watching (January-April)


Guided rainforest hike: Upon arrival in San Pedrillo, you will enjoy a guided hike through the dense and vibrant rainforest. A professional naturalist guide will lead you along the trails, pointing out the incredible diversity of flora and fauna. Keep an eye out for howler monkeys, scarlet macaws, tapirs, and a wide variety of birds and reptiles, all using a telescope and high-quality gear for observing nature.

This sightseeing tour is perfect for nature lovers, photographers, and anyone looking to experience the wild side of the Costa Rican tropical rainforest on a well-organized day trip.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, surrounded by the sounds of the forest and with a view of the ocean, after a hike of around 4 hours on the various trails or permitted hiking areas within the park.

After enjoying lunch and resting, you will board again for the drop-off at Playa Uvita, where the activity will end once you return to the coast.

After booking, you must send the full names and numbers of each traveler. This is a requirement of Corcovado Park for admission tickets.


It is important to mention that from the meeting point, we will travel in your own vehicles to the parking lot provided near the beach. The parking lot is quite safe and private. If you don't have a vehicle, don't worry. When you arrive at the meeting point, we will take you to the point where the tour begins on the beach to take the vessel or boat that takes us to San Pedrillo.
