Escape San José for a private journey to one of Costa Rica’s most spectacular coastal regions. This experience is designed around scenery, authenticity, and flexibility — blending iconic destinations with genuine local encounters along the way.

The drive to the Pacific includes curated scenic stops and a visit to a traditional roadside fruit stand where travelers can discover seasonal tropical varieties rarely exported, such as cashew fruit, caimito, zapote, and regional mangoes. This simple but vibrant stop offers a taste of everyday Costa Rican coastal culture.

Midway through the journey, enjoy a relaxed picnic-style lunch overlooking the ocean at Playa Hermosa. The setting is intentionally rustic rather than luxurious — allowing the landscape to take center stage. Meals are pre-prepared and may include wraps or sandwiches, snacks, and beverages enjoyed directly by the shoreline.

Guests then choose between two recommended experiences:

Manuel Antonio National Park
Explore one of Costa Rica’s most celebrated protected areas with a professional naturalist guide equipped with spotting optics for wildlife observation. The visit includes time to enjoy the park’s warm coastal waters.
(Entrance and guide: approx. $75 per person — not included)

Rainmaker Conservation Park
Venture inland into lush rainforest featuring waterfalls, hanging bridges, and river access points ideal for swimming. A quieter and more immersive nature-focused alternative.


Travel time is approximately 3.5 hours each way, making this a full-day adventure — but the diversity of scenery and experiences makes the journey part of the reward.

Entrance fees are excluded to preserve flexibility. Food stops and pacing are adapted to your preferences.
