Giới thiệu sản phẩm

Curi Cancha Reserve protects a unique mix of forests in the heart of Monteverde: cloud forest, rainforest, primary forest and secondary forest, all within a single walk. This variety of habitats is what makes the reserve one of the richest places in the area for wildlife.

Meet your local naturalist guide at the reserve entrance and set off along well-kept trails. You'll walk beneath towering old-growth trees in the primary forest, cross through regenerating secondary forest where wildlife often feeds along the edges, and climb into the misty cloud forest, where moss and orchids cover every branch. Curi Cancha receives fewer visitors than Monteverde's larger reserves, giving you a calmer experience and better chances to spot animals.

As you walk, your guide will help you find wildlife that most visitors pass by. Look for the Resplendent Quetzal, one of the most spectacular birds in Central America, along with Emerald Toucanets, Trogons, Bell bird, hummingbirds and others. Coatis and agoutis often cross the trail, and you may hear howler monkeys or spot white-faced capuchins moving through the canopy.

Your guide will also explain how each type of forest works and why they matter. Monteverde is home to countless species of orchids, many found nowhere else on Earth, along with bromeliads, ferns, mosses and lichens that thrive in the humid mountain air.

Keep your eyes open for frogs, lizards and colorful butterflies, and pause at viewpoints overlooking the mountains and forest canopy.

The walk is relaxed and suitable for most fitness levels, making it a great choice for families, photographers and anyone who wants to experience these forests with someone who knows them well.
