Start your day with an early hotel pickup in San José, Heredia, or Alajuela. Stop for breakfast at a traditional restaurant with forest views and both Costa Rican and American options.

Upon arrival at Manuel Antonio National Park, walk the park's shaded trails with your guide, learning about the park's history and ecology. Your naturalist guide sets up a professional spotting scope on sloths, toucans, and monkeys high in the canopy, turning distant shapes into detailed sightings you can actually photograph.

After your hike, reach the park's famous white-sand beaches framed by rainforest. Enjoy some free time to swim and relax on the beach. Showers inside the park let you freshen up before a Costa Rican casado lunch on the way back. Expect around 13 hours door-to-door — a full, unhurried day on the Pacific coast.
