Begin your adventure with a pickup from your hotel in Papagayo, Playas del Coco, Las Catalinas, Playa Danta, Tamarindo, or Liberia. Head to Sendero Las Sorpresas, the trail into Tenorio Volcano National Park. Embark on a moderate rainforest hike to the famous Rio Celeste, where mineral reactions turn the water a surreal turquoise blue.

Next, spend two hours at Finca Verde, a private rainforest reserve in Bijagua de Upala. The visit includes a dedicated 30-minute Sloth Encounter — observing wild sloths in their natural habitat with your local guide — plus a guided walk to spot monkeys, toucans, poison dart frogs, reptiles, and tropical birds.

Finish your day at Cataratas Llanos de Cortés, a curtain waterfall with a natural sandy beach and a calm pool perfect for a refreshing swim before the drive back. Enjoy lunch, bottled water, both park entries, and private transport.
