This trip to Nakhchivan offers a fascinating glimpse into Azerbaijan's history, culture, and natural wonders. We’ll explore the city of Nakhchivan, visit the majestic Khan Palace, and rejuvenate at the renowned salt mountain, Duzdag. The adventure continues with a climb to Alinja Castle, known as the "Machu Picchu of Azerbaijan," and a visit to Ashabi-Kahf, a revered site surrounded by beautiful landscapes. Throughout the journey, we’ll explore the unique heritage of this ancient land, experiencing its breathtaking landscapes, spiritual sites, and historical landmarks up close.

Nakhchivan is one of the oldest cities in Azerbaijan. The first information about the city is given by the historian Josephus Flavius (e. G. I century BC) and the Greek geographer Claudius Ptolemy in his book "Geography".
Nakhchivan is located in the south-eastern part of the Caucasus.

At this tour as we receive your booking, we will keep in touch and request your passport details to book the flight from Baku to Nakhchivan and from Nakhchivan to Baku for the next day.
Airport transfers in Baku are not included. Airport transfers in Nakhchivan are included.
A one-night hotel stay in Nakhchivan is included.

Day 1 - Nakhchivan city & Alinja Castle
Freshen up after the flight hotel.
11:15: Visit Momine Khatun Mausoleum
12:00: Explore Nakhchivan State History Museum
13:15: Lunch at a traditional restaurant. (optional)
14:30: Drive to Alinja Castle
14:50: Visit Alinja Castle and enjoy the view
16:30: Visit Duzdag Salt Cave Therapy Center
18:30: Return to Nakhchivan city
Overnight (if 2 days selected)

Day 2 - Ordubad city & Ashabi Kahf
07:00: Breakfast at the hotel.
07:30: Drive to Ordubad
09:00: Explore Ordubad Old Town and its landmarks
11:00: Visit Yusif Ibn Kuseyir Mausoleum near Ordubad
11:30: Drive to Ashabi-Kahf Cave Sanctuary
12:30: Explore Ashabi-Kahf Cave
14:30: Back to the city
15:30: Free time for shopping or exploring.
16:00: Early dinner near the airport.
16:40: Arrive at Nakhchivan International Airport for check-in.
18:50: Flight to Baku.
