Day 1: Welcome to Azerbaijan and Shamakhi Heritage

Begin your adventure with a warm welcome at Baku Heydar Aliyev International Airport (GYD). Meet your driver and enjoy a scenic drive to Shamakhi, the ancient capital of the Shirvanshahs.

Stop at the Diri Baba Mausoleum, a 15th-century Sufi dervish mausoleum built into a solid cliffside. Next, visit the Juma Mosque, the oldest and largest mosque in Azerbaijan, dating back to 743 AD.

Arrive and settle into a scenic hotel or boutique guest house in Shamakhi or Meysari village for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Alpaca Magic and Journey to the Ancient Lahij

Start your day with a visit to Meysari village to meet, feed, and take memorable photos with the friendly alpacas. Then, enjoy a breathtaking, panoramic drive through the dramatic Girdimanchay river canyon deep into the Greater Caucasus mountains.

Take an immersive walking tour of Lahij. Visit authentic, centuries-old copper workshops, local blacksmiths, and traditional carpet weavers. Overnight at a cozy, boutique ethno-guest house or mountain hotel in Lahij to experience authentic local hospitality and charm.

Day 3: Mountain Landscapes and Farewell Transfer

Spend a relaxing morning strolling across scenic suspension bridges and enjoying the fresh mountain air and stunning nature viewpoints. Then, enjoy a smooth and comfortable drive back towards Baku.

End your trip with a direct, hassle-free transfer back to Baku Airport (GYD) for departure flights or to your preferred hotel in Baku city center.
