Just outside Baku, where the asphalt runs out and the hills take over, a different kind of landscape opens up — rocky trails, dusty climbs, wide ridgelines, and views that stretch out over the surrounding valleys. This off-road experience gives you two ways to explore that terrain: aboard a compact, one-of-a-kind EZRaider through the striking landscapes of Gırməki Valley and the Yanar Dag nature reserve, or behind the wheel of your own ATV quad bike on a longer ride through the hills, timed for late afternoon so you finish as the sun sets behind the ridgeline.

EZRaider — Yanar Dag & Gırməki Valley
The EZRaider is unlike anything else available in Azerbaijan — a compact, uniquely designed off-road vehicle built for a genuinely different kind of adrenaline. This guided 4km route winds through the unusual, otherworldly landscape of Gırməki Valley before reaching the Yanar Dag nature reserve, a site known for its natural eternal flame and rich cultural and historical significance. The ride takes around 20 minutes and follows a specially designed route, led by a guide throughout. Each rider is welcome to capture the experience using an action camera, and every tour comes with its own set of exclusive extras. Groups are kept small, with a maximum of 10 riders per tour, keeping the experience personal rather than crowded.
ATV Quad Bike — Mountain Trail Ride
For those looking for a longer, more physically engaging ride, the ATV quad tour takes you deeper into the hills outside the city.
Rides are available at different distances, so you can choose how long you'd like to stay out on the trail — from a short introductory ride to a longer loop further into the hills for those who want extended riding time.
Why go at sunset
Both experiences are especially memorable in the late afternoon, when the light across the hills turns to deep gold and orange tones and the heat of the day fades into cooler, quieter air.
What's included
Both experiences include a full safety briefing before setting off, a protective helmet for every participant, and a professional guide who leads the group throughout the ride. The EZRaider tour follows a specially designed route through Gırməki Valley and Yanar Dag, while the ATV quad tour includes hands-on practice with the controls before heading out onto the mountain trails. Both rides are built to be beginner-friendly, with no prior off-road experience required for either option.
Good to know
The EZRaider tour operates daily from 10:00 to 17:30, covering a 4km route in approximately 20 minutes, with groups capped at 10 riders. A separate entrance ticket to the Yanar Dag reserve must be purchased on-site at the entrance, in addition to your EZRaider booking. The ATV quad tour runs year-round, though late spring and autumn tend to offer the most comfortable riding conditions — midsummer afternoons in the hills can be hot, with little shade along the trail.
