Tolar Grande is a town nestled in the heart of the Puna Salteña, founded around the Belgrano railway station when mining activity was in full swing. To get to this town from the city of Salta, you have to travel 357 km.

You'll cross the Quebrada del Toro, pass through the town of San Antonio de Los Cobres, and come across small villages camouflaged by the arid landscape of the Puna.

Your itinerary
Day 1: Head from Salta or San Antonio de Los Cobres to Tolar Grande. Lunch and departure to the Alto Chorrillos pass at 4560 meters above sea level. We'll cross the villages of Olacapato, Salar de Pocitos, 7 curves, and the Devil's Desert, arriving in Tolar Grande in the afternoon. Dinner in the family dining room. Night in a shelter or a family home.
Day 2: Breakfast in the family dining room. Visit Arenal and Ojos de Mar. Lunch in the family dining room. In the afternoon, cross the Arizaro salt flat and hike to the base of the Cono de Arita. Return at sunset. Dinner in a family dining room, night in a shelter or family home.
Day 3: Breakfast in the family dining room and head back to the departure point. San Antonio de los Cobres or the city of Salta.

It includes:
* 4x4 transportation (4X4 PICK-UP).
* Local guide in Spanish
* Visit to the Ojos de Mar
* Arenal and Arizaro, Cono de Arita
