2. Departure by tram to the Church of St. Sava, son of Stefan Nemanja and a major figure in Serbian history. Visit to the church, which is monumental in size and decorated with more than 15,000 m2 of mosaics. (45 minutes).
3. Walk to the Kalenic Market in the Vracar district, a traditional market with fresh, local produce. (30 minutes).
4. Departure by public transport to the town center (15 minutes).
5. Walk past the Parliament, the Old Palace (now the Belgrade City Hall), and the New Palace (now the Presidential Building). (15 minutes).
6. Arrival in Terazije Street, one of the main streets in the center of Belgrade, with the Hotel Moskva and the Terazije Fountain, significant landmarks. (15 minutes).
7. Walk to Republic Square and have a coffee break in one of the bar-restaurants in the square, which is surrounded by the National Theater, the monument to Prince Mihailo Obrenović, and the National Museum (optional visit). (30 minutes).
8. Walk through the pedestrianized Prince Michael Street (Knez Mihailova) to St. Michael's Cathedral and Belgrade's oldest restaurant with the surprising name of Question Mark (?). (30 minutes).
9. Pass by the French Embassy, one of the most beautiful buildings in Belgrade in the Art Deco style. (15 minutes).
10. Walk through Kalemegdan Park, home to the Belgrade Fortress, which symbolizes the city's turbulent history. The park is home to several of Belgrade's must-see buildings and monuments, such as the Military Museum and its open-air exhibits of armaments, the Belgrade Zoo, the Victor Monument dedicated to the soldiers who broke through the Thessaloniki Front during the First World War, and the Ruzica Church. 11. Photo break on the heights of the Park and the fortress, which offers an incredible view of the confluence of the two rivers that cross Belgrade, the Danube and the Sava. (10 minutes).
12. Tour ends in front of the monument of thanks to France in Kalemegdan Park. (15 minutes).
