For this adventure, and for all those looking for thrills and unforgettable experiences, we take you to one of the 7 active volcanoes in Nicaragua. It's the most popular with tourists and one of the volcanoes where we can drive to the main crater. It's also the only one where we can observe glowing lava inside the active crater, which is 500 meters in diameter and 300 meters deep. Our driver and certified bilingual guide will pick you up at your hotel so you can experience this adventure. The trip from the hotel to the volcano will take only 30 minutes. Upon arriving at the national park, we'll start by visiting the museum for general and geological information about the volcano. Then we'll go into the forest for a short hike on the Comalito trail for a panoramic view and to watch the sun set. At nightfall, we'll take the transportation up to an altitude of 700 meters to see the active crater and its incandescence. Then we'll take you back to the hotel.
