From there, travel upstream for around 30 minutes by traditional local boat, enjoying beautiful views of the river, towering limestone mountains, lush forests, and peaceful riverside villages along the way.

Arrive at a quiet fishing spot where local people have practiced traditional fishing for generations. Your local guide will introduce you to traditional fishing techniques and show you how fishing is an important part of everyday life in the villages along the river. You’ll have the chance to try fishing yourself, surrounded by beautiful nature and away from the busy tourist areas.

More than just a fishing trip, this is an opportunity to connect with local life. Spend time with your guide, hear stories about the village and river, and learn about local traditions, food, and the simple lifestyle of people living in this beautiful part of Laos.

After fishing, sit down beside the river and enjoy a freshly prepared local picnic lunch. Relax, enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature, and take in the spectacular mountain and river views.
