Experience a 2-day journey from Algiers through Eastern Algeria’s most iconic historical and Roman sites. Begin early in the morning with pick-up from Algiers and travel towards Constantine, with a stop at the UNESCO-listed site of Djemila. Enjoy a guided visit of this remarkably preserved Roman city, where you will explore ancient temples, mosaics, and ruins surrounded by stunning mountain scenery. After the visit, continue to Constantine for a short introductory city tour, followed by a traditional dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

On day two, discover the beauty of Constantine with a guided tour of its famous bridges, panoramic viewpoints, and the atmospheric old city. In the afternoon, head towards Timgad, stopping en route at the impressive Mausoleum of Imedghassen, one of North Africa’s oldest royal tombs. Continue to Timgad to explore its extraordinary Roman ruins, considered among the best preserved in the world, before returning comfortably to Algiers in the evening.
