Salar de Uyuni Full-Day Tour from La Paz, Round Trip｜Bolivia

Day 1
Head to the Bus Office at 8:30 PM for check-in; the bus from La Paz to Uyuni departs at 9:00 PM.

Day 2
Arrival in the city of Uyuni between 4:30 AM and 5:00 AM.
Free time to buy snacks, water, and other items for your trip.
(We have free time because all businesses and tourist attractions are open from 10:30 a.m. onwards.)
Your tour begins at 10:30 a.m. with a trip to the Salar de Uyuni. The first stop is the eerie “Train Graveyard,” located on the outskirts of Uyuni.
Then, visit the small settlement of Colchani (home to the salt-miners' workshops next to the salt flats), where you will also find salt crafts and textile art made from llama and alpaca wool. These make excellent souvenirs to take home. Take photos as you drive across the vast white expanse of salt, wade through the “Ojos de Agua Salada” (Saltwater Eyes), and also visit a hotel made entirely of salt that is currently used as a museum-restaurant, the Flags of the World display (where you can bring your own flag and place it there for free), and a Dakar Rally monument.
After a morning of exploration, lunch will be served en route. Afterward, you will have time to hike to the top of Incahuasi Island to see giant cacti and rock formations made of petrified coral.
Important: Due to the rainy season (January to March), it is not possible to access Incahuasi Island.

Next, take your time to organize your group to take fun photos that distort perspective and proportion on the dazzling white surface of the salt flat; by playing with the setting, you're sure to capture fun and memorable photos!

Finally, head to an open area to enjoy the unique experience of watching a beautiful sunset over the salt flat, as its dazzling colors spread across the Salar de Uyuni, and enjoy the spectacle with a glass of wine.

Return from your excursion to Uyuni between 7:15 PM and 7:45 PM.

Then, make your own way to the bus station at 8:30 PM.
The bus departs from Uyuni for La Paz at 9:00 PM.

Day 3
Arrive in La Paz city between 6:15 am and 6:35 am.
End of the tour: Main Bus Station in La Paz city.
