This tour is a gourmet immersion in Cotonou at night, by motorcycle (helmet provided), with a live local guide.
The departure is at 3:30 PM from Place de l'Étoile Rouge, in front of the mural at Place de l'Amazone. From there, you will pass through 6 of the city's iconic neighborhoods – Gbèdjromèdé, Cadjèhoun, Ganhi, Caboma, Agla, and Haie Vive – each with its own unique history, from the former merchants' quarters to the neighborhoods created to resist flooding.
Over the course of 9 stops, you will taste: Tévi and Ata, Yovo Doko, Choucouya mutton, beef, local appetizers, and fresh juice at the Ganhi market, chicken and akassa, dèguè, coconut water, and artisanal ice cream for a sweet ending.
The tour ends at 9:00 PM in Haie Vive, a neighborhood known for its first planned constructions in the 1960s.
