Giới thiệu sản phẩm

Day 1: Luanda – Kalandula Falls – Malanje

Begin with a drive to the magnificent Kalandula Falls, one of the largest waterfalls by volume in Africa. Make a short stop in the town of Ndalatando for a stroll through its beautiful Botanical Garden (Rosas de Porcelana).

Arrive at the falls in the early afternoon and spend about one to two hours enjoying the spectacular view. Go trekking and visit the incredible view from the base of the Kalandula Falls, with a ride on a traditional boat on the Lucala River.

The Kalandula Falls have an impressive drop of approximately 105 meters (344 feet), making them taller than the famous Victoria Falls on the Zambezi River. The width of the falls spans around 400 meters (1,312 feet), contributing to the grandeur of the site. A short, yet quite challenging and slippery road takes you to the base of the waterfall to see it from a unique perspective.

Day 2: Malanje – Kalandula Falls – Pedras Negras – Luanda

In the morning, return to the waterfalls and stop at another viewpoint on the opposite side to see the falls from the top. Then, drive to Malanje to visit the impressive rock formation of Pedras Negras (The Black Stones).

These hard sedimentary stones remain a geological mystery, as they do not blend with the surrounding topography. The region was once the capital of the Kingdom of Ndongo—an African kingdom that existed between the 16th and 20th centuries. It is believed that the footprints of King Ngola Kiluanji and Queen Ginga, who lived in the 17th century and ruled that kingdom, are embedded in the rock. Finally, drive back to the city of Luanda.
