Begin your day with a convenient hotel pickup in Haikou. Head to the Haikou Shishan Volcanic Group, a national AAAA-level scenic spot and an important part of China's Leiqiong Global Geopark.

Explore the park, home to 40 volcanoes and more than 30 lava tunnels. Admire the Ma'anling Volcanic Crater, the highest point in Haikou at 222.8 meters. Discover lush tropical plants and ancient dwellings made of basalt stone tools.

Next, enjoy a local farmhouse feast, savoring authentic flavors and dishes.

Continue to Yongqing Temple, located on Yingbin Peninsula, Chengmai County. Founded in the Tang Dynasty, it was one of the "Eight Scenic Spots of Chengmai" in ancient times and a renowned sacred site for Zen Buddhism in Hainan's history.

Admire the temple's architecture, laid out according to the "Seven Halls of Garan" pattern of the Song Dynasty. Marvel at the 42 Buddha statues, exquisitely carved from single blocks of Burmese white jade, and learn about the temple's rich history and cultural significance.
