You will visit Hahoe Folk Village, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Korea's most well-preserved traditional villages, famously visited by Queen Elizabeth II. You will also have the opportunity to experience the lively Hahoe Mask Dance Performance, a traditional Korean folk performance.
The tour also includes Bongjeongsa Temple, home to Geungnakjeon Hall, one of Korea's oldest surviving wooden buildings, and Byeongsan Seowon, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Korea's most beautiful Confucian academies. - 09:00Bongjeongsa Temple -It is one of the seven temples inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List under the title “Sansa, Buddhist Mountain Monasteries in Korea. This place, which has the oldest wooden building in Korea, is a place of pride for all of us, and it is also a place where anyone can come to Bongjeongsa Temple and forget all the fatigue of body and mind, and climb while breathing in the fresh air to their heart’s content. In 1999, Queen Elizabeth II visited Bongjeongsa Temple in Andong to experience traditional Korean culture, famously calling it one of the most serene and authentic places in the country.
- 10:40Andong Folk Museum -Andong Folk Museum is an open-air and indoor museum near Andong Dam that showcases the unique Confucian heritage, traditional life-cycle rites, and regional customs of the Andong area.
- 11:30Wolyeonggyo Bridge -The moon that came down from the sky and floated on the river and penetrated our hearts, the tender moonlight awakens forgotten dreams and becomes the moonlight of the lake again, trying to remain as a beautiful memory. Wolyeonggyo is a sculpture that reveals this natural scenery, but more than that, it wanted to commemorate the beautiful and sublime love of the Lee Eung-tae couple who lived in this area for a long time. The shape of a pair of Mituri made with the wife’s hair for her husband who passed away was included in the shape of this bridge. In order to continue their beautiful and sorrowful love forever, we built this bridge today and climbed on it to sublimate the moonlight of their sublime love into our love and dreams.

- 14:00Watching the Andong Hahoe Village Mask Dance -Hahoe Byeolsingut Talnori is a UNESCO-listed traditional Korean mask dance from Andong that uses wooden, movable-jaw masks to satirize social elites and pray for village peace through vibrant music and humor.
- 15:00Andong Hahoe Folk Village -Hahoe is the village where the members of Ryu family which originated from Hahoe Village have lived together for 600 years. The village was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2010. The reason for the village name Hahoe(Ha means a river and Hoe means turning around) was that the Nakdong River flows around the village in an S shape. Hahoe Village has conserved Hahoe Byeolsingut Mask Dance Play performed by the public in general, and Seonyujulbul Nori-a boat ride and fire play enjoyed by the nobility called Yangban. For pick-up or drop-off in other cities, an additional charge will apply depending on the distance. For example, there is an additional fee of KRW 120,000 for pickups in Busan.
This private tour is designed as an 8-hour experience, typically running from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Any time exceeding the scheduled duration will be charged at KRW 40,000 per hour.
The maximum number of passengers is seven. If your group has more than 7 passengers, please contact me in advance to discuss availability.
Small hand-carried bags are not a problem in the car. But luggage capacity depends on the number of passengers. If you are traveling with large luggage, Please contact me in advance.
If you require a child car seat, an additional fee of KRW 30,000 per seat will apply.
