I. Fee Description

1. Included in the fee

II. Helpful Tips for Traveling in Europe

• hotel

1. European cities are generally small, with a very limited number of hotels, and those that exist are often small and outdated, not as up to the standards of similar hotels in China. They generally do not provide toothbrushes, toothpaste, or slippers. Most European hotels also do not offer free Wi-Fi; specific charges are determined by the hotel. Hot drinking water is not provided in European hotels; please bring your own travel-sized water dispenser, but be extremely careful not to place it on carpets or tables while it is still hot, as this could damage public property.

2. The hotel's food is somewhat different from that in China. Breakfast is relatively simple (German breakfasts are more substantial, while Italian breakfasts are very simple, consisting only of bread and coffee). Lunch and dinner are also not very lavish, and their quantity and quality are significantly different from those in China.

3. Please keep your valuables safe and do not leave them in your hotel room. Please also bring a set of travel documents and a copy of your credit card for use as proof of replacement in case of loss.

1. Bottled mineral water is readily available. It's commonly found in cafes, supermarkets, and highway restaurant cafes. Please do not bring your own dinner into restaurants, especially Western-style restaurants. Restaurant staff are happy to sell various beverages because European group meals typically do not include tea, and also because servers receive extra pay for it. This custom has remained unchanged for many years; please be aware of this.

2. Chinese Restaurants in Europe: Generally speaking, the cooking standards and service vary from place to place. Both stir-fried dishes and pasta dishes are available. Western restaurants typically serve a standard three-course European meal: appetizer (soup/salad) + main course (pasta or a piece of meat) + dessert. Drinks are not included.

1. Passenger vehicles are divided into three types: large buses, minibuses, and small buses. Generally, large buses have a dedicated luggage compartment, while minibuses and small buses have relatively small luggage storage space. Given the limited luggage compartment space on buses, it is recommended not to bring too much luggage when traveling.

2. To avoid overcrowding in front of attractions, bus parking areas in most European cities are far from the attractions, and many ancient cities (such as Rome) do not allow tour buses to park inside the city. Violators will be subject to hefty fines. Sometimes the pick-up and drop-off points are some distance from the attractions. We ask for the understanding of all tour members.

3. Bus Safety Tips: Smoking and eating strongly flavored food are prohibited on the bus. Please do not bring prohibited items. When group members get off the bus to sightsee, dine, or shop, please make sure to close the bus windows and keep your valuables with you at all times; our company will not be responsible for any loss or theft.

• Service fee

1. In Europe, where the standard of living is relatively high, low-income workers such as hotel waiters, restaurant waiters, taxi drivers, or long-distance drivers hope to receive tips after their services to earn extra income.

2. If you dine alone in a restaurant, please leave 10% of the total bill as a tip when you leave. When leaving the hotel, you can leave a coin on the pillow for the housekeeping staff.

• voltage

The voltage in the UK and Europe is 220V, and the plugs are different from those used in China. British electrical plugs are triangular (three prongs). Plugs in other European countries are usually two round prongs. The Italian standard is generally more convenient than the European standard; please take note.

• Telephone

If you bring your mobile phone, you can use it anywhere in Europe, which is convenient, economical, and time-saving. Public telephones are also readily available. Prepare a local phone card in advance to avoid using troublesome coins. Also, do not buy high-value phone cards to avoid waste.

The Euro is accepted in every EU country you visit (except the UK and Switzerland; the UK uses the British Pound, and Switzerland uses the Swiss Franc), making it very convenient. Please exchange your currency beforehand to avoid high exchange fees at banks in neighboring countries. Also, please prepare some coins for tipping. Credit cards are also accepted for shopping; generally, every store has a credit card machine, which is very convenient.

• Other precautions

1. Most tourist attractions in Europe offer discounts for students; students should bring their student ID cards.

2. European weather is unpredictable, so please be sure to bring rain gear and a thick coat.

3. To prevent traveler's stomach upset due to changes in environment, please bring your own commonly used or frequently used medications. Those with chronic illnesses should bring their medical records for unforeseen circumstances. Do not take any medications offered by others without authorization.

4. Italy and Spain are smoke-free countries. Smoking in public places will result in a fine of €3,000 to €6,000 if caught by the police. Please do not buy counterfeit brand-name goods; doing so will result in a fine of €3,000 if caught by the police.

5. Bringing drinks into museums in Europe is strictly prohibited. Large bags are not allowed, and photography and videography are strictly prohibited in galleries. Mobile phones, cameras, and bags are also strictly prohibited during visits.

6. Many churches in Europe have security and conduct checks on visitors. You will be refused entry if you are wearing a sleeveless coat, short skirt, riding breeches, slippers, wearing a hat, eating, bringing pets, smoking, or carrying sharp objects such as knives and nail clippers.

7. Beware of pickpockets: With European borders now largely open and nomadic groups from former Western Europe and Albania scattered throughout towns and cities, pickpockets are rampant. Please keep a close eye on your belongings, especially wallets, cameras, passports, and other valuables, to avoid unnecessary trouble. Couples should keep their valuables separate as a precaution.
