Giới thiệu sản phẩm

Start your day at the entrance to the Pompeii tour. Here, your friendly and informative guide will be waiting to meet you. After a short meet and greet with your guide you will set off on your adventure of the ancient city of Pompeii.

During your walking tour of Pompeii, in addition to the many sights, your knowledgeable guide will provide you with fascinating information about the history of this mysterious place. Your guide will set the scene for you, teaching you about the politics of the city, the culture, trade and commerce and not to forget, details of the catastrophic volcano itself. Whilst strolling through Pompeii, you will also see various temples and get insight into the religious traditions of the time. Witness Roman houses, still intact after the incident. Feel free to peruse through these homes as your guide teaches you about daily life within the household. Your skilled guide will explain to you the various forms of public entertainment that existed and recount the fights that broke out between rival fans of opposing gladiator teams. You will discover the traces of life in the thermal baths, the taverns, the gambling, and the brothels where both male and female sex workers worked. You will also see and appreciate the spectacular Forum, the Basilica of Pompeii, the Villa of the Mysteries, the famous houses of the Faun and of the Vettii, the great theatre and the Temple of Isis.

On the next portion of your tour, you will visit the Archeological Museum of Naples. The collections that the museum houses today are truly extraordinary and your guide will ensure your trip is as educational as possible. In addition to a revealing series of inscriptions, finely carved sarcophagi, and vases from various regions of southern Italy, the Museum holds many sculptures which you will get to see in the flesh. Witness the statue of Marcus Holconius Rufus, the Dacian barbarian prisoners, Marcus Nonius Balbus, and the colossal statues of the Greek gods Castor and Pollux from Baia. During your trip to the museum, you will also get to see the famous Farnese collection, a sight not to be missed.

Witness the central and largest part of the collection, consisting of the objects that reemerged from the excavations of Pompeii, Herculaneum, Stabiae, and the other Vesuvian centers buried under the eruption of 79 AD. Gold and emerald pins, earrings, bracelets, and necklaces, the furnishings of daily life, pots and glasses, silver, braziers, tripods, scales, lanterns, and harness bells, mostly in bronze, and many other little curiosities, all of which you will be able to see and study in person. You will also get to see perfectly preserved mosaics that depict the Battle of Alexander the Great, the Traveling Musicians, and the Academy of Plato.
