The dinner and show at the Xi'an Tang Dynasty Palace Theater offer a unique experience, combining the 'Empress of the Great Tang' performance with a sumptuous imperial banquet or dumpling feast.
The 'Empress of the Great Tang' performance vividly recreates the life of Wu Zetian, the only female emperor in Chinese history. Born in 624 AD, she entered the palace at the age of 14 as a concubine to Emperor Taizong and was given the title 'Wu Mei'. Later, she became the empress of Emperor Gaozong. After Emperor Gaozong passed away, she ruled as Empress Dowager. In 690 AD, she ascended the throne as emperor, changed the name of the dynasty to Zhou, and established the Wu Zhou regime. The performance is divided into several chapters, including 'Selection of Palace Maidens', 'Breaking into Wende Hall', 'Military Campaigns', 'Two Sages Ruling Together', and 'Coronation Ceremony'. Through magnificent Tang-style music and dance and exquisite stage settings, it presents the life journey of Wu Zetian from a young and ambitious palace maid to a powerful empress.

Tang Dynasty Palace: Children under 1.2 meters (excluding) in height are free; children 1.2 meters (including) and above in height are charged at full price. The meal fee for children is the same as that for adults and is charged at full price. The fee is valid only for the day of visit.
Seat numbers will be randomly assigned at the ticket collection point and cannot be selected by the ticket holder. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that multiple people who have booked seats together will be seated together. Thank you for your understanding.
The suggested schedule for a single weekday performance is as follows: Dinner begins at 18:00, and the performance lasts from 19:30 to 20:35. The suggested schedule for two weekend performances is as follows: First performance: 17:30-19:00 (dinner in the performance hall), 19:00-20:05 (performance); Second performance: 19:00-20:30 (dinner in the Chinese restaurant), 20:30-21:35 (performance).
