The largest music festival in Eastern Taiwan, '2024 Hualien Summer Carnival,' is set to rock Dongdamen Night Market in Hualien City! The first two days (7/3~7/4) will kick off with independent bands, followed by performances from Golden Indie Music Award and Golden Melody Award-winning headliners like Cosmos People, EggPlantEgg, Mixer, and Constant & Change. The opening day will feature a spectacular high-altitude international fireworks show, promising 5 days of non-stop summer excitement! - Xincheng Old Street
Xincheng Township is the smallest township in Hualien, consisting of eight villages including Xincheng, Kangle, and Beipu. Since becoming a filming location for the famous movie 'Eternal Summer,' it has revitalized local tourism. Additionally, the nearby 'Xincheng Catholic Church' has become a sensational online photo spot due to its unique ship-shaped architecture coexisting with a Japanese shrine. - Qixingtan Beach
Located in Beipu Village, Xincheng Township, this area features a fault-formed strait and a crescent-shaped bay covered in pebbles. Travelers often stack wishing stones on the beach, which, combined with the deep blue Pacific Ocean, adds a touch of romance to the scenery. Qixingtan Scenic Area is situated next to Hualien Airport; occasionally, if you look up, you can see planes flying overhead, a unique view exclusive to Qixingtan. - Hualien Summer Carnival Concert
The Hualien Summer Carnival is an annual grand music feast in Hualien. Over the years, it has maintained large-scale concert standards, inviting international superstars and famous singers to perform. The Summer Carnival is a well-known and beloved festival during the summer vacation, serving as a stage for major stars and idol groups. It not only leads the Asian pop music scene but also attracts international friends and music lovers to visit Eastern Taiwan to discover and fall in love with Hualien.

This is a carpooling itinerary. The mode of transportation used is shared rides. You will travel with other passengers in the same car. According to traffic regulations, one person needs one seat. The price is the same for adults and infants. The free connection area in Hualien City is from the south of Hua Road in the north, to the east of Section 3 of Zhongyang Road in the west, and to the north of De'an 6th Street in the south. The remaining areas will have additional charges depending on the distance, please note.
