San Miguel de Allende: Family Traditions, Lunch and Mexican Lottery｜Mexico

Start your walking tour through the historic center of San Miguel de Allende and get ready to get to know Mexico in a fun, participatory way designed for the whole family to enjoy.

During the tour, we'll discover some of the traditions that are part of everyday life in Mexico while playing Lotería Mexicana. The Lotería cards are in Spanish, and each one will let us discover new words, meanings, and expressions, as well as learn what they represent and why they are part of Mexican culture.

Through the Lotería Mexicana cards, children and adults will discover new Spanish vocabulary, learn the meaning of each word, and find out how it relates to the life and traditions of Mexico. Each card will be an opportunity to learn something new while playing and participating together.

The Lotería will be part of the tour and not just a game at the end. As we make our way through the streets of the historic center, we'll play, discover new cards, and share stories related to Mexico, its customs, its food, and its daily life.

There will also be time to enjoy the cuisine. During the tour, we'll stop to enjoy a delicious lunch with tacos and other Mexican food options, served with refreshing aguas frescas. There is no alcohol in this experience: everything is designed so that children and adults can participate together.

And of course, there will be prizes. Competition is part of the fun, but the important thing is to play together, learn, discover, and have a good time as a family.
