Athens Wine Lab: Blind Tasting Challenge & Aroma Masterclass｜Greece

This experience takes you to two boutique wineries in Attiki for a hands‑on sensory journey into Greek wine. Instead of a standard tasting, you’ll take part in a guided blind tasting challenge and aroma masterclass. You’ll learn how to identify wine by smell, structure, acidity and flavor — a skill normally taught only in sommelier training.

We begin at the first winery, where you’ll explore the vineyard/winery and learn about Attiki’s indigenous grapes and winemaking traditions. Your host will guide you through an aroma identification session, helping you recognize key notes found in Greek wines.

We continue with the second winery where you’ll taste 4–6 wines, using your senses to guess the grape, region, and style. This interactive format makes the experience fun, educational, and completely different from typical wine tours in the area.

Between tastings, you’ll enjoy local snacks that pair naturally with the wines. You’ll also receive a tasting‑notes booklet to take home, allowing you to continue practicing your new skills.
