Impormasyon ng produkto

Launch from Kure Beach and join a guided kayak tour through Zeke’s Island Coastal Reserve—a 1,635-acre network of islands, barrier spits, and ever-changing marshes shaped by the tides. Your guide will get you set up with a kayak, paddle, and life vest, then lead you into a coastal landscape known for birdlife, fish sightings, shell hunting, and scenic island hopping.

Start with a 5–7 minute safety and skills demonstration before you paddle. You’ll learn the basics of efficient strokes, how to handle changing conditions, and what to expect in this dynamic area. This isn’t a calm lake environment: you may encounter current, wind chop, and boat wake as you cross active channels—so listening to your guide’s instructions is essential.

Once on the water, follow your guide through tidal flats and fringing marshes, pausing to observe wildlife and explore the shoreline. Depending on conditions, you’ll weave between islands such as Zeke’s Island, North Island, and No Name Island, taking in wide-open coastal views and the reserve’s shifting sands and waterways.

Wrap up back at the launch with a better feel for coastal paddling and a fresh perspective on North Carolina’s barrier island ecosystems. For the most comfortable experience, the operator recommends early morning or late afternoon paddling to avoid the harsh sun.
