Product Info

Explore the crystal-clear waters and diverse marine life of Isla Tabarca on a full-day trip from Valencia. Take a bus to Santa Pola, then board a catamaran to the island. Spend the day snorkeling, diving, and exploring the island at your own pace.

Isla Tabarca, also known as Tabarca Island, is a small rocky island located in the Mediterranean Sea, off the southeastern coast of Spain. The island has a rich history. It was originally known as Planesia and was inhabited by the Romans. Later, it became a refuge for Barbary pirates. In 1768, King Charles III of Spain ordered the island to be fortified and settled by Genoese families from the island of Tabarka, off the coast of Tunisia. Since then, it has been known as Tabarca.

Isla Tabarca is known for its crystal-clear waters and diverse marine life, making it a popular destination for snorkeling and diving. The island is part of a protected marine reserve, the Tabarca Marine Reserve (Reserva Marina de Tabarca).

After a day of exploring the island, board the catamaran back to Santa Pola, and take the bus back to Valencia.
