At Maisel's Bier-Erlebniswelt in Bayreuth, tradition meets innovation. The historic buildings with their modern ambience extend over more than 4,500 m².
Accompanied by a tour guide, stroll through the old Maisel brewery, where everything looks as if the brewers and coopers have only stepped away for lunch. Discover the historic steam engines, look deep into the copper kettles in the brewhouse, and smell the aroma of fresh hops in the hop room. Learn how the Maisel family has brewed its beer for generations out of love for craftsmanship and tradition, and with boundless passion.

Admire extensive collections of beer glasses and beer mugs, as well as enamel signs from a wide variety of breweries and beer brands.
Move from the past into the present: the Braukunstwelt, a newly designed area of the Bier-Erlebniswelt, shows in an interactive and sensory way how just four ingredients—water, malt, hops, and yeast—create an enormous variety of aromas and beer styles. Here, experience the importance of each raw ingredient and the entire brewing process in a unique way.

Toward the end, the tour passes the state-of-the-art Maisel & Friends brewery workshop with its 25-hectoliter brewhouse, where you can watch the master brewer at work.
