Product Info

Pacific Fjord Escape begins at Cates Park in North Vancouver, where guests board our comfortable 21-foot HewesCraft SeaRunner and set off into the spectacular wilderness of Indian Arm — a glacial fjord carved thousands of years ago and surrounded by towering coastal mountains.

As we cruise north, you’ll leave the city behind and enter a landscape few visitors ever experience. Along the way, your guide shares fascinating stories of Indigenous history, early settlers, hidden waterfront communities, the Buntzen powerhouse, Wigwam Inn, and the rich natural history of this remarkable fjord. Keep your eyes open for seals, bald eagles, river otters, great blue herons, and, on occasion, even orcas.

The journey continues past dramatic granite cliffs, cascading waterfalls, remote beaches, and pristine forested shorelines accessible only by boat. With breathtaking views around every corner, there are countless opportunities for photos and unforgettable memories.

The highlight of the experience is arriving at our private 3.5-acre waterfront retreat, accessible only by water. Here guests can relax on a sandy beach, unwind beneath the palms at our tiki bar, stroll through beautiful gardens, explore the property, or simply take in the incredible mountain and ocean scenery from covered waterfront lounge areas.

Guests are treated to refreshments and a thoughtfully prepared spread while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Whether you’re looking to reconnect with nature, learn local stories, spot wildlife, or simply escape the crowds, Pacific Fjord Escape offers a uniquely West Coast experience unlike anything else near Vancouver.

After time to relax and explore, we board the boat and make our scenic return journey through the fjord, often under the warm glow of the afternoon or evening light, arriving back at Cates Park with memories of a side of British Columbia few people ever get to see.
