Product Info

Begin your day with a convenient hotel pickup in Krakow. After a scenic drive to the trailhead at Palenica Białczańska, meet your certified mountaineer guide and receive a safety briefing before starting the hike.

Follow a well-maintained mountain path to Morskie Oko, one of the most scenic alpine lakes in the Tatra Mountains. The total hiking distance is approximately 16 km round trip, with an elevation gain of around 400 meters. The hike typically takes 4–6 hours depending on pace and weather conditions.

Throughout the trek, your certified mountaineer will provide a structured introduction to essential mountain skills, including proper trekking posture and pacing techniques, mountain safety awareness and risk assessment, basic route orientation principles, energy management during long-distance hiking, and environmental responsibility in alpine terrain.

If a participant becomes tired during the ascent or descent, traditional horse-drawn carriage transport is available on the main trail section (subject to availability and local regulations). This service is optional and paid separately on site.
