Product Info

Begin your journey in Krakow. During the transfer, you will have time to prepare for the visit and learn more about the historical background of the site through commentary, educational materials, or a documentary film presented during the ride.

From the very beginning of the tour, you will be accompanied by a dedicated tour leader provided by us. This knowledgeable, experienced, and compassionate escort remains with the group throughout the entire experience, ensuring that every stage of the journey is carefully coordinated.

Unlike many other providers, we do not leave you to manage the practical details on your own. Your tour leader will assist with transportation, entrance procedures, schedules, communication with the local guides, and any questions that may arise along the way. They are also available to provide additional historical context and emotional support during what can be a deeply moving and difficult visit.

Upon arrival at the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum, you will meet a licensed local guide who specializes in the history of the former Nazi German concentration and extermination camp. Together, you will begin a profound and educational journey through one of the darkest chapters of modern history.

At Auschwitz I, you will walk through the well-known “Arbeit Macht Frei” gate and enter the grounds where thousands of prisoners were held under brutal and inhumane conditions. You will visit original brick barracks, prison blocks, courtyards, and preserved camp buildings. Inside the exhibitions, you will see personal belongings, photographs, historical documents, and other powerful evidence of the lives of those who were imprisoned and murdered there.

The tour also includes some of the most significant locations within the camp complex, including the former gas chamber and crematorium. Through the guide’s explanations, you will learn about the camp’s development, the persecution of different groups, the daily reality faced by prisoners, and the systematic process of mass murder carried out by Nazi Germany.

You will then continue to Auschwitz II-Birkenau, the much larger section of the camp complex. Here, you will see the vast grounds, the railway tracks and unloading platform where deportees arrived, the remains of gas chambers and crematoria, prisoner barracks, guard towers, and barbed-wire fences.

Walking through Birkenau allows you to understand the enormous scale of the camp and the machinery of extermination that operated there. The preserved ruins and open landscape create a powerful setting for reflection on the suffering of the victims and the consequences of hatred, prejudice, and dehumanization.

Throughout the visit, the licensed guide will present the history with accuracy, sensitivity, and respect. You will gain a deeper understanding of the Holocaust, the experiences of those who were deported to Auschwitz-Birkenau, and the individual stories behind the numbers.
