Puerto Varas: Half-Day Puerto Montt Sightseeing Tour Included｜Chile

We will start the tour from the beautiful city of Puerto Varas, also known as the City of Roses, with a stop on the waterfront to appreciate the view of the city from the bay and the “Aurora” sculpture with Llanquihue Lake in the background.
We'll see its main tourist attractions, including the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church (subject to opening availability). We'll explore the Old Neighborhood, where the first German settlers established themselves.

Then we will descend to the downtown area, skirting the beautiful Llanquihue Lake, and as a backdrop we will see, weather permitting, the imposing Osorno Volcano, which feeds Llanquihue Lake every day with its meltwater.

We will head towards Puerto Montt, 20 km to the south, the capital of the Region of Lakes and Volcanoes, visiting the highest point of the city, from where we will have a beautiful panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean and Tenglo Island.
From there, we'll head to the German Settlers Monument, located in front of Plaza de Armas, and the waterfront pier, enjoying its architectural heritage and mix of cultures along the way.

Afterwards, we will continue towards the Angelmó area, famous in our country for its large number of handicraft shops and, of course, the Caleta de Pescadores, where we will learn about the daily activity of the seafarers who come here bringing traditional seafood and fish to be sold at the Market.
