Product Info

Explore the Alerce Andino National Park in the Lenca Sector, part of the Patagonia Parks Route and the Temperate Rainforests of the Austral Andes Biosphere Reserve.
From your accommodation in Puerto Varas, we'll head towards Puerto Montt to take the route that follows the Carretera Austral. Upon arrival at the park, we will check in and begin a tour through the lush vegetation of the Valdivian Rainforest.
We'll visit Salto del Río Chaica, see different species of the native forest and the park's iconic 3,000-year-old Alerce trees, as well as birds that will delight us with their song along the route.
As we continue along the trail, it starts to become more uneven and wetter. We'll arrive at our first stop at Laguna Chaiquenes, where we'll take a few minutes' rest and have time to take photos before continuing with the second part of the tour.
In this last part, the trail becomes more challenging, with an ascent among granite boulders, exposed tree roots, and mud. We'll finally reach our main destination, Triangulo Lagoon. We'll enjoy the scenery, take a break, snap some photos, and eat our packed lunch to recharge our batteries. After enjoying the place, we'll begin our drop-off by descending along the same route to the starting point and then begin our return to Puerto Varas.
