This is the ideal tour for those who want to chase the Northern Lights in absolute privacy. Your group (max. 7 people) has their own guide/driver, so there is flexibility to tailor make the tour just for you.

First of all we pick you up in Tromsø city centre, then we drive out and look for good weather to be able to spot the lights. Sometimes we drive out to the islands in the west, sometimes on the mainland in the east and sometimes all the way to the Finnish border.

When we find a good spot, we wait for the lights to show up, take pictures, teach you the right tricks to get your own photos and have a hot drink and biscuits.

Finding the lights is magical. You think you must be dreaming, especially when you catch them dancing. It just comes from nowhere… and keeps moving and changing shape!

Although there is never a guarantee, we find them most of the time. Join us for a chase and experience the thrill!

Finding the perfect aurora spot
The Northern Lights are a mystical, natural phenomenon. If it’s raining or cloudy in Tromsø, finding the perfect spot to experience the magical lights takes experience, up-to-date information and local know-how. We are extremely flexible and drive wherever necessary in search of clear skies and life-changing experiences. It could be north or south, east or west, inland or out to the coast – or even all the way to the Finnish border. The fact that our guests have experienced the Northern Lights on more than 90% of our chases shows that we know what we are doing.

Our focus is small groups and a personal touch. The duration of the tours vary depending on where we drive. As the weather can be cold during the Arctic winter, it makes comfort even more important.
