Start with a panoramic drive along the famous Ringstraße, one of Europe’s great monumental boulevards. Pass the Vienna State Opera, Austrian Parliament, City Hall, Burgtheater, the University of Vienna, and other landmarks that reveal how Vienna became an imperial and cultural capital.

Continue to the Hofburg and explore the historic center on foot. Begin at Michaelerplatz, pass through Michaelertor, and enter the courtyards of the former Habsburg residence.
