Embark on an unforgettable adventure from Reykjavík as you explore the breathtaking Sólheimajökull glacier, visit two of Iceland’s most iconic waterfalls, Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss, and see Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach. This small-group experience takes you deep into Iceland’s glacial and volcanic landscapes, offering a perfect mix of adventure, natural beauty, and fascinating geology.

Your journey starts with a pick-up from Reykjavík, where you’ll meet your expert guide and travel along Iceland’s stunning South Coast. As you drive past lava fields, black sand beaches, and towering cliffs, your guide will share insights about Iceland’s unique geology and history. On the way, we stop at Skógafoss, a powerful 60-meter (197 ft) waterfall that often creates stunning rainbows in the mist. Climb the stairs to the top for breathtaking panoramic views or stand below to feel the mist and power of the falling water. We then head to the iconic Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, one of Iceland’s most dramatic and photographed coastal spots. Famous for its striking black volcanic sands, powerful Atlantic waves, and towering basalt column formations, Reynisfjara offers a unique glimpse into Iceland’s volcanic origins and unique geology. Just offshore, you'll see the impressive Reynisdrangar sea stacks rising from the ocean, steeped in local folklore and legend. Take time to enjoy the breathtaking scenery and capture incredible photos.

Upon arriving at Sólheimajökull glacier, you’ll receive all necessary glacier gear, including crampons, a harness, and helmet. Your guide will provide a short safety briefing before leading you up a mossy valley and onto the glacier. Enjoy a thrilling hike across the rugged ice, and remarkable panoramic views from the mossy canyon. You’ll spend about 1-1.5 hours on the glacier, exploring its otherworldly landscape and witnessing firsthand how Iceland’s natural forces shape its terrain. Guests should be prepared to hike up to 6km over uneven terrain, with moderate elevation gain.

After the hike, we make one more stop en route back to Reykjavík. The iconic Seljalandsfoss waterfall is known for its unique pathway that allows visitors to walk behind the cascading water. This 65-meter (213 ft) high waterfall originates from Eyjafjallajökull glacier, adding to its dramatic beauty. During the winter months, Seljalandsfoss is illuminated with lights, making it a perfect stop at the end of the day.

Please note: The order of the itinerary and inclusion of all sightseeing stops may be adjusted seasonally due to weather and road conditions and is subject to the guide's discretion. This flexibility helps ensure the safest and most enjoyable experience for all participants.
