It’s summer time ~! Join us for a scenic day tour of Iceland’s famous Golden Circle!
What to expect during the day:
From 9:00 AM, we pick you up from designated stops in Reykjavik in a comfortable minibus, accompanied by an experienced Chinese-speaking guide. We also have Chinese speaking customer service to assis the pick up process.
Our journey begins at Thingvellir National Park, where the Euro-Asian Tectonic plate and North American Tectonic plates rejoins. It is also where Iceland’s first parliament was founded. Here, you’ll learn its unique history and enjoy free time to take in the magnificent landscapes.
Next, we visit a hidden gem—Bruarfoss, often called the “azure domain.” Though modest in size, its striking turquoise water and peaceful surroundings create a truly unforgettable scene.
We then head to the Geysir geothermal area, home to Strokkur, which erupts every few minutes, sending hot water high into the air—an impressive display of Iceland’s geothermal power. It is like the heartbeat of Earth but with a surprise. You will never know when it will pump off next time~!
A lunch stop is usually arranged here, with several meal options available.
After the break, we continue to Gullfoss, the “Golden Waterfall,”, where crowns the name for Golden circle. At here, you have a nice pavement walk where you can enjoy powerful glacial water fluses down cascading in two tiers in the huge canyon. On sunny days, you may also see beautiful multiple rainbows crossing over from the mist rising from the waterfall.
We then stop at the newly opened Laugarás geothermal lagoon, a calm and relaxing spot where you can enjoy the surrounding nature, gentle steam.
Before returning, we visit Kerid Crater, known for its vivid volcanic colors and crater lake. In summer, the landscape comes alive with striking contrasts—deep blues, vibrant greens, and rich red volcanic rock.
This tour combines nature, culture, and geology, all brought to life through engaging Chinese-language guiding for a deeper and more memorable experience.
