Impormasyon ng produkto

Take a private day trip from Prague to Terezin, one of the most important WWII sites in the Czech Republic. With your personal English-speaking guide, explore the key locations of the former Gestapo prison and Jewish ghetto at your own pace — with comfort and context.

The tour begins at the Small Fortress, used as a political prison by the Nazis between 1940–1945. Walk through the original cells, isolation rooms, showers, delousing station, hospital, and execution yard. Just outside the gates lies the National Cemetery, where thousands of victims are buried.

After the fortress, visit the Ghetto Museum, located in a former school. The exhibitions focus on life in the Terezin ghetto, transports to extermination camps, and include a memorial hall dedicated to the children who passed through.

Nearby, see a hidden synagogue that served as a prayer room during the ghetto period, and the attic space where people secretly lived. The tour continues to the crematorium and Jewish cemetery, both preserved in original condition. More than 30,000 victims were cremated here by fellow prisoners under Nazi orders.

Finally, visit the Magdeburg Barracks — once the seat of Jewish self-government in the ghetto. The exhibitions here focus on cultural life under impossible conditions, including drawings, poetry, music, and theatre created by the inmates.

Travel is by private minivan with hotel pickup and drop-off in Prague. Walking distance on site is approx. 2–3 miles. Total duration is about 6 hours, including 3.5–4 hours in Terezin. Entrance fees are included in the price. The itinerary can be adjusted to your needs.

Please wear good walking shoes and dress appropriately for the weather — part of the visit takes place outdoors. Men are kindly asked to wear a head covering when entering the synagogue and the crematorium.

Admission to the listed sites is included in the price.
