Kiruna: Private Snowshoeing & Sauna Experience｜Sweden

Your experience begins at our family homestead in the Lapland countryside. After a short introduction to snowshoes, we head into the Arctic wilderness.

The route is adapted to the weather and your group’s fitness level, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable pace. As we move through quiet forests and snowy landscapes, you'll experience the stillness of Arctic nature and, with some luck, spot the Northern Lights above us.

We make our way to a scenic viewpoint on a small fell, where we take a short break to enjoy the views, breathe the crisp Arctic air, warm up with hot berry juice made from local berries, and take photos.

After taking in the surroundings, we continue back through the snowy forest, following quiet trails in the Arctic nature.

Back at the homestead, a wood-fired sauna awaits. Before your sauna session, your guide will introduce the traditional Nordic sauna ritual and explain each step for you to follow at your own pace. Guests enjoy the sauna experience privately, without the guide present, allowing time to fully relax and unwind.

After the sauna, you can relax in the cozy lounge with refreshments inspired by the local flavors and traditions of Swedish Lapland. All sauna essentials and basic toiletries are included.
