Impormasyon ng produkto

Starting point: Camp Alta, Kiruna

Duration: Approximately 3–4 hours

Your adventure begins with a hotel pick-up in Kiruna (if selected) before a short drive to Camp Alta, our lakeside base just 15 minutes from the city centre.
Here, you'll meet one of our experienced local guides, who have spent years exploring the Arctic wilderness around Kiruna and know these snowmobile trails inside out. The tour is guided primarily in English but our guides can also speak: French, Dutch and Italian. Please let us know if you have a language preference and we will try to accommodate your request.
Before setting off, you'll be equipped with everything you need to stay warm and comfortable, including a thermal overall, winter boots, gloves, balaclava and helmet. Your guide will then give a thorough safety briefing and explain how to operate the snowmobile. If it's your first time driving one, there's no need to worry—you'll have time to practise on the frozen waters of Lake Alttajärvi until you feel confident behind the handlebars.
Once everyone is ready, it's time to head into the Arctic wilderness. Your 32 km journey takes you across the frozen expanse of Lake Alttajärvi before winding through snow-covered pine and birch forests on carefully selected trails. Far away from busy roads and crowds, you'll experience the silence and beauty that make Swedish Lapland such a special place to explore in winter.
Along the way, your guide will share stories about life above the Arctic Circle and the surrounding landscape. Keep an eye out for reindeer, Arctic birds and, if you're lucky, even a moose crossing the trail.

If you're sharing a snowmobile, you'll each have the opportunity to drive approximately 16 km, giving both riders the chance to enjoy the experience behind the handlebars.

Halfway through the tour, we'll stop in the middle of the forest to stretch our legs, take photos and simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings. It's the perfect moment to make snow angels, have a friendly snowball fight or just take in the fresh Arctic air. While you enjoy the break, you'll swap drivers before continuing the journey through the beautiful winter landscape.

As you make your way back towards Camp Alta, you'll enjoy new views of the surrounding wilderness and have another chance to appreciate the vast frozen lake and forest scenery that make this region so unique.

Back at camp, you'll return your equipment before we drive you back to your hotel in Kiruna, leaving you with unforgettable memories of one of the most authentic winter experiences Swedish Lapland has to offer.
