Impormasyon ng produkto

Depart from Glasgow and embark on a day trip to explore Scotland’s most iconic landmarks. Visit the Glenfinnan Viaduct, the setting for the Hogwarts Express in Harry Potter, and discover the stunning landscapes of Glencoe and Loch Lomond.

Begin your journey by heading to the east side of the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and have a refreshing break. Experience breathtaking views of lochs and mountains in the lush countryside as you ascend further into the park.

Continue through the picturesque county of Argyll and Bute, leading you into the Highlands. Encounter the vast expanse of Rannoch Moor, Britain’s largest moorland. From there, venture into the rugged landscapes of Glencoe, a stunning part of the Caledonian Mountain range.

Discover the intriguing geology of this ancient, extinct supervolcano that erupted 420 million years ago, shaping the dramatic mountains you see today. Learn about the tragic history of the Glencoe Massacre. And for Harry Potter fans, these three iconic peaks served as the backdrop for the final battle at Hogwarts.

Enjoy lunch in the charming town of Fort William, located at the foot of the Nevis Range. Explore the historic remnants of the old army barracks that once protected the town, stroll along the scenic shores of Loch Linnhe, a beautiful sea loch marking the beginning of the Great Glen, and try products from the local cafes and shops before continuing your journey.

Arrive at Glenfinnan, the pinnacle of your journey. See the Glenfinnan Viaduct, which was engineered by Thomas Telford, and the Jacobite Monument. Traverse the nearby trails to see the best views of the viaduct and have a chance to see the Jacobite Steam Train as it crosses over. Take a stroll down to the shores of Loch Shiel and marvel at the Glenfinnan Monument, the site where Bonnie Prince Charlie first raised his royal standard in the Jacobite Uprisings of 1745.

On the return journey, travel through the western side of Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park, offering stunning views of Loch Lomond, the largest loch in Scotland. Make a stop at Luss, a charming conservation village known for its historic cottages, beautifully preserved to reflect the area’s rich heritage. Take a leisurely walk along the shores of Loch Lomond, immersing yourself in the natural beauty of this iconic location.
