Impormasyon ng produkto

Are you interested in history and fit enough for a "mountain hike" in the middle of the city? Then come along to one of Hamburg's newest attractions: the Green Bunker!

The large gray anti-aircraft bunker was built during World War II to protect the population and, for many decades, led a shadowy existence as an emergency shelter, a storage facility for materials, a vaccination center, and, of course, a fallout shelter during the Cold War. After the reunification of Germany, the giant made of concrete was given new life. Today, you can not only go rock climbing there, but also party, enjoy concerts and readings, eat delicious food and even stay overnight at the hotel. Over 4,700 trees and large shrubs are growing there to form a forest and are automatically watered with rainwater. One way in which our cities can become fit for the future.

Our well-trained and cheerful tour guides will take you on an exciting journey through time from the construction of the bunker to the present day. They will entertain you with anecdotes from the "Heiligengeistfeld" television studio, explain the sustainable concept of greening, and how the bunker began its third life just a few years ago.

From the rooftop garden, you have a 360-degree panoramic view of many of Hamburg's landmarks, including Millerntor Stadium, the Dancing Towers, the Elbphilharmonie, the Köhlbrand Bridge, the container port, the Bismarck Monument and the TV Tower. Choose your next destination in Hamburg from among them!
