At the beginning of the tour, your guide, who was born and raised in the favelas, will take you to the bottom of Ary Barroso Slope. You can climb it on foot or use local transport by motorcycle or van.

Then, learn more about life in the favelas and the local culture, routines, and history of this beautiful community, where scenes for various productions were filmed.

Next, walk the Babilônia trail, which offers incredible views of different parts of the city. There are also deactivated bunkers and many species of birds and plants. It is an easy trail with no age restrictions.

Finally, visit Bar do David, a famous pub in Chapéu Mangueira known for its delicious food, marvelous drinks, and many awards. It was once voted the best pub in Brazil.
